The Farley foundation is a non-profit organization run by the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association. It helps disabled and senior pet owners on limited incomes to pay for medical and surgical care for their pets. Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society Cambridge Humane society Kitchener-Waterloo pet food drive Westmount animal hospital actively supports The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. Not only do we donate food to this great cause but we also serve as a depot so that clients may drop off pet food for those in need. We then arrange delivery of the food to the pet food ban warehouse where it is then disseminated to those who are in need. Adopt a family Every Christmas Holiday season Westmount Animal Hospital adopts a family in need. We provide this family with food, toys, and clothes for the holiday season. Golden Rescue Westmount Animal Hospital is a proud member of Golden Rescue Society helping Golden Retrievers in need. Six years ago Diane’s father, Keith Slater, was diagnosed with ALS and given 6 months to live. Her father’s determination to continue living and to refuse to let his diagnosis cause him to give up hope was a large part of Diane and Robert’s decision to enter into the home health field. Originally located in Kitchener, they moved the business home to Guelph in June of 2012, when they moved in with Diane’s parents in order to keep Keith, now in a power wheelchair and breathing with the help of a ventilator, living at home. We understand from a customer’s point of view the challenges for people and their families trying to lead their lives while managing a disability, and we’re here to help you help yourselves.
