Minor Peewee AA Bound For OMHA Quarter Finals
The Gryphon Minor Peewee AA's are off to the OMHA Quarter Finals after a convincing 7-1 victory over the Orangeville Flyers on Monday night.   The win left the Gryphons with a 7-1 record in divisional play,  good enough for 1st place and a ticket to the Quarter Finals.

The Gryphons took charge off the game right off the bat with two goals in the first 90 seconds of play and never looked back.  Ryder Burns set the tone 1:01 into the contest with he took a pass from Oscar Johnson on the wing and cut hard to the net and lifted a shot over the Flyer netminder's shoulder to get the Gryphs on the board.  25 seconds later, defenseman Xander Speakman pinched in at the Flyer blueline and directed a shot on net.   Speakman's shot was blocked but he picked up his own rebound and blasted it into the net for a 2-0 lead.   Guelph added another marker with 27 seconds left in the period when Zac Conroy rushed the puck deep into the Flyer zone and slid a cross crease pass onto the stick of Matthew Stam who slid the puck into the open cage and sent Guelph into the first intermission with a 3-0 lead.

Guelph would add three more goals in the second and a single tally in the third to skate way with a 7-1 victory.

Guelph will now advance to face Burlington Gold in the next round of the OMHA.  Go Gryphies!

The Action Mobility Story Enriching Lives and Supporting Health & Safety at Home At Action Mobility, our empathy and passion for what we do is reflected in the kind of service we give. We have firsthand knowledge of how a disability can impact the quality of life for individuals and their families. Six years ago Diane’s father, Keith Slater, was diagnosed with ALS and given 6 months to live. Her father’s determination to continue living and to refuse to let his diagnosis cause him to give up hope was a large part of Diane and Robert’s decision to enter into the home health field. Originally located in Kitchener, they moved the business home to Guelph in June of 2012, when they moved in with Diane’s parents in order to keep Keith, now in a power wheelchair and breathing with the help of a ventilator, living at home. We understand from a customer’s point of view the challenges for people and their families trying to lead their lives while managing a disability, and we’re here to help you help yourselves.
