In an exciting hockey game between the Flamborough Sabers and the Guelph Gryphons, the Sabers emerged victorious with a decisive 5-1 win. The Gryphons came out flying at the start, putting immense pressure on the Sabers. However, the Sabers' defense held strong, preventing any early goals. As the game progressed, the Sabers adopted a methodical approach, which paid off as they managed to score a few goals in quick succession. This sudden burst of scoring put the Gryphons on the back foot. Despite their best efforts, the Gryphons could only manage to score a late goal, but their comeback attempt was ultimately stopped short by the resilient Sabers.
