ROB HOWLETT
I am committed to promoting a positive team culture that encourages athletes to reach their full potential on or off the surface of play. Creating team-first atmosphere to develop well rounded athletes, stressing the importance of character.

Rob Howlett will be our Head Coach for the U14 A team moving into the 2025/26 season. This will be Rob's first year as a Head Coach with Guelph Minor Hockey, but he has previously supported the on-ice development of this age group over the last 3 years. 

Rob is a dedicated member of the Guelph community, supporting and coaching Jr. Gryphons in multiple sports. He has a strong background in creating environments that promote both team and individual success.

Highlights from the 2024/25 season saw the team win the Early Season Hespeler Tournament, have a successful performance and play a significant role at the CCM Nations Cup Championship in Detroit and push to the Quarterfinals in the Tri County Playoffs.

The U14A team is also excited to have Chris Chipman, Matt Smith and Gavin Logher join Rob on the bench this year. This group brings a great deal of experience both playing and coaching hockey. As a group the coaching staff looks forward to building off of last year's successful season.
