HEAD COACH, 2025/26 Guelph Jr. Gryphons U14A
BRETT RITCHIE
I am committed to promoting a positive team culture that encourages athletes to reach their full potential on or off the surface of play. Creating team-first atmosphere to develop well rounded athletes, stressing the importance of character.

Brett Ritchie will be our Head Coach for the U14 A team moving into the 2025/26 season. Brett is returning after a successful 2024/2025 season.  He has previously coached the 2012 age group at the AA level during the U10 and U11 seasons.

Highlights from this past year saw the team win the Early Season Hespeler Tournament, successful performance and significant role at the CCM Nations Cup Championship in Detroit and push to the Quarterfinals at the Tri County Playoffs.

A native of Guelph and graduate of Guelph Minor AAA Hockey, Brett enjoyed a MWJHL Jr. B career with the hometown Guelph Platers.  Brett is a multi-sport athlete with success playing Junior A lacrosse with the Kitchener Braves, Varsity Field Lacrosse at the University of Guelph and member of Team Ontario Field Lacrosse.

Brett is a motivated and experienced coach with a strong background
to develop and implement successful programs.
