BRIAN HOOD
I focus on positive energy, teamwork, skill development and respecting teammates, opponents, coaches and officials.

Brian Hood returns to lead our 2015 AA team as Head Coach for a second season. Hood has a broad array of coaching experience and has worked with many GMHA teams at the younger age groups over the last few years. Prior to joining the GMHA, Hood was involved with GTHL teams at the AAA level; this included in the role of Assistant Coach to the very successful Toronto Jr. Canadiens teams.

Coaching the 1995 and 1996 age groups; leading them to their OHL draft year, Hood has had several future NHL players on his roster. Hood also has experience in the East Coast Selects, a premier spring/summer hockey organization that has taken him to coach in Italy, among other destinations. A multi-sport coach, Hood is also actively involved in coaching within Guelph Minor Baseball.
