HEAD COACH, 2025/26 Guelph Jr. Gryphons U12AA
KYLE RUSSELL
I create a positive environment, encourage creativity, reward hard work, treat all players equally and promote improvement.

Kyle Russell returns to GMHA for a second season as Head Coach of the AA Guelph Jr. Gryphons at the 2014 age group. Previously, Coach Russell served as the assistant coach of the ADP Gold team of this age group during their U9 year.

As a youth, Russell had a successful goalie career at the OJHL and NCAA levels. Russell remained involved in minor hockey, coaching the Halton Hurricanes during their U16 season in 2012/13, which saw eight 1997-born Hurricanes drafted into the OHL after their season which included a visit to the OHL Cup quarterfinals. He also was involved with youth hockey in Georgetown before his time with the Hurricanes.
