The 19th Annual Pat Larock Memorial Tournament "AAA" Peterborough
Tournament runs from September 13,14 and 15th. The Minor Atom Guelph Gryphons are guaranteed 4 games. 2 on Friday and 2 on Saturday. Sunday will be the finals.
The Catalina Bay Resort on Big Bald Lake in Buckhorn Ontario has been reserved for the team and families.
This resort is 30 min from the arena.
It was discussed at the parent/ coaches meeting that a cottage type resort would be a great way to start off the season.
The boys can play outside together have campfires together, and get to know each other that much better.
Instead of being in hotel rooms restricted from playing mini sticks:)
There are seven 3bedroom cottages, eight 2bedroom cottages. There is a flat rate of
$150.00 per night.
There are two fire pits, one by the beach area which teams generally use.
Also, teams sometimes have a potluck dinner set up on the grass area one night.
The resort will provide lighting and tables.
There is a restaurant as well.
Everyone pays upon arrival.
