Bantam, 2015-2016, U12 (Guelph Minor Hockey Association)

The Guelph Bantam AE boys took Silver after a tough heart breaking OT game 5 loss in Tri-County Final. The team took Centre Wellington to the distance with back to back OT thrillers... The boys played some of their best hockey of the season in a game five thriller in Fergus last night despite coming up short in OT.  

Congratulations to the Bantam AE boys for their tremendous round robin play and a first place finish during the Tri County round robin round.  The boys now advance to the Bantam AE Tri County final. 

Congratulations to the Bantam AE boys for a very strong finish to the season!  With a very solid 4-3-1 round robin record, the Bantam boys now advance to the Quarter final AE2 playdown against an impressive 8-0-0 Halton Hills team.  Although Halton has had our number most of this season, we played them very tough through both games of the round robin series with Halton only sqeaking past us 5-4 in our last meeting.  Our boys are full of confidence, playing very strong in both ends of the rink and look to be peaking at the right time!  We are all looking forward to this series and our boys ...

Great to see the boys come up big Thursday night after two tough games against Halton and Flamborough.  Playing three very hard, high energy close checking periods resulted in a very big win against an undefeated Oakville Rangers team. Congratulations to the Bantam AE boys on an important win over a very tough team!  If we can play every game with this energy and desire to win, we will be in great shape going forward!!! What a way to start the season! The boys worked very hard and executed what we learned in practice resulting in a 9-1 win over Milton! We are facing some tougher teams this weekend but if we continue to implement those learnings, we are well positioned to put some more W's on the board! Great job everyone! Coach Rod

Great to see everyone on the ice last night…summer dry land and our 30/30 program seems to be paying off as you all looked in fine shape! Looking forward to another productive practice on Thursday and our 2 exhibition games vs. Milton next week. These ice times should well prepare us for our early bird tournament in Orangeville which is just a few weeks away! Keep up the great work! Coach Rod
