The Bantam AA Gryphon's finished off an amazing season last week by defeating Halton Hills Thunder in Game 5 of their Tri-County Championship series.
The Gryphon's came out very strong, taking games 1 & 2, however after suffering two close losses in Halton, returned home for game 5. Halton pressured early however the Gryphon's took control mid-way through the second period and never looked back. The win was a true measure of team success, and was supported by fantastic goal tending throughout the playoffs. Series Co-MVP's were goalies Aiden McVittie & Liam Oakley.
