Guelph Gryphons Atom AE team finished the season with a strong effort in Muskoka this past weekend and were successful in winning the Gravenhurst Memorial Tournament! The semi final game would prove to be a hard faught battle vs the Oro Thunder with a lot of back and forth action and a 6-5 Gryphons overtime win to advance to the finals. With a 40-19-10 season record and only 6 regular season losses, this team was poised to finish hard and leave all their efforts on the ice in a final game vs the Muskoka Rock. A special thanks to the Atom AE Gryphon players who entertained many of those in attendance yesterday to catch game 5 of the OMHA Quarter Finals. Every player left it all out on the ice and continued to battle with heart and determination. The OMHA Quarter Finals proved to be a tight series that could have gone either way with only a three goal differential between the two teams through five games.
