The Peewee select Gryphons were in Ancaster on Thursday night to face the Avalanche. It was a rough ride for both teams but the Gryphons were able to freeze the Avalanche to only one goal thanks to a strong performance from goaltender Lucas MacDonald. Meanwhile the Gryphon's were on the attack posting up 4 goals thanks to forwards Cameron Johnston Hallahan,  James Thomson and Hudson Marshall. Defenseman Neil Moir sealed the deal with a final minute empty netter.   The team played very well dominating most areas of play except for penalty minutes where the Avalanche posted 16 mins to the Gryphons 12. Their record is now 10-7-1 as they gear up to face the Acton Chargers on March 12 at Centennial Arena.
