Preparation Skates

The U11 age group begins with a series of 4 “preparation skates” to be held between September 6th and 9th. Provided in alignment with Hockey Canada’s U11 Player Pathway and under guidance from the OMHA, these evaluation skates help players to get back on the ice after the summer and prepare to be at their best for tryouts. No evaluations will take place during these preparation skates.

Tryouts

Once the preparation skates are completed, the U11 tryouts follow a sequential release process in which teams are selected by level, starting at AAA and continuing through AA, A and BB.
