The Guelph Gryphons Peewee House League team #3 win Silver!
The Guelph Gryphons Peewee House League team #3 competed in the Al Boone Memorial Tournament hosted at the beautiful Gale Centre facility in Niagara Falls from December 27th – 29th. The team won their division beating NFMHA – Rewbury (3-0), St. Alfred’s Sharks (4-0) and Mike Knappford’s Leafs (7-2). In the quarter finals Guelph #3 defeated Welland (4-1). Guelph was again victorious in the semi finals (3-0) versus Six Nations team #1 advancing to the finals where they played Six Nations team #2. Guelph lost a very evenly matched game (4-2) capturing the silver medal. Each one of the ten skaters contributed on the game sheets throughout the tournament & goal-keeper Cameron Hunter stood on his head each game! It was a great tournament by all.
