Midget, 2019, U9 (Guelph Minor Hockey Association)

Congratulations to the Guelph Jr. Gryphons Midget AAA team on winning the Waterloo Gold Puck Tournament on the weekend. Battling through injuries on the weekend the Gryphons came out with a perfect 4-0 record in the round robin. In the semi finals they beat the North Central Predators 3-1. They came out flying in the finals once again against the Kingston Jr. Gaels where they emerged victorious 4-2 in the finals. The team continues to work hard as they keep working towards their goal of winning the Canadian National Midget AAA championship.  

On the weekend the Gryphons Midget AAA team played in the Kitchener Blueline Tournament. In the round they went 2-0-2 with Victories over Quinte, Oshawa, and Ties against Lambton, and Markham Majors. With that record they won there division, and played Halton in the Semi Finals. In the Semi Finals it was a hard fought action packed game and they came away with a 2-1 victory. In the Finals they played the Toronto Marlies they quickly jumped out to a 3-0 lead and never looked back winning the game 3-1. Congratulation guys on an awesome weekend, and keep on working hard.
