U15 Gryphons Face Off against Burlington
Friday evening brought a first of the season matchup against the Burlington Eagles at Appleby Arena and a dominant win for the Gryphons.
Guelph set the pace from the opening puck drop maintaining strong offensive zone pressure. Supporting the O-Zone dominance was skilled, intentional puck movement throughout with active engagement of the defensive pair. The team played with a looseness that his been absent over the last month, the pressure of maintaining an unbeaten streak has been removed and the grips have loosened. An incredible, clinical game by the Gryphons resulted in a 14-0 win over a Burlington team that didn't stop competing and played to the end.
Next up, Waterloo Wolves on Saturday evening in what will be a tighter, more competitive battle.
