Novice A Jr. Gryphons Do It Again!!!
It was an impressive win for the Novice A Jr. Gryphons as they played the New Hamburg Huskies winning 3-1!

The Gryphons dominated the entire game taking control from the first drop of the puck to the last seconds of the 3rd period!

In the 1st period the Gryphons battled keeping the puck out of their end resulting in a great play by the Gryphon defence; Banin Howden and Austyn Lamorea shooting the puck out and up to Tyler Kelly for a breakaway goal resulting in a 1-0 lead going into the 2nd period.

The Gryphons kept the pace going scoring their 2nd goal from a great pass from Jaxson Shields to Cole Gibson making an unbelievable pass to Tyler Kelly scoring his 2nd goal of the night. It was perfection on ice!!!! With only seconds left in the 2nd, the New Hamburg Huskies scored an unlucky goal ending the period with the Gryphons leading 2-1.

The 3rd period started with both teams ready to work hard to get the win. The Gryphon defence worked together to keep the puck out and passing it up for yet another great play by Ayden Lamorea passing to Andrew Brown who battled and got through 2 Huskie players to score the 3rd Gryphon goal. Despite the aggressive play by the Huskies in the 3rd, the Gryphons stood their ground, challenged and won the game 3-1!!!

Great passing, winning battles and motivation by all made it possible for the BIG win!!!!

Saving the best for last......it was the Gryphon goalies; Trenton Goode and Anderson Mau that kept the fans on their feet! Trenton Goode was on fire making save after save and was a "wall" that could not be brought down!!! Anderson Mau got another shutout and was determined to not let any puck get passed him tonight!

The Gryphons look forward to their next game when they play the Milton Winterhawks this coming Friday.
