GRYPHON PEEWEE AAA's bound for to the Ontario Winter Games!
PEEWEE AAA's have qualified to participate at the Ontario Winter Games being hosted in Muskoka on Feb 27th to Mar 2nd.

The Ontario Games started in 1970 and is held every two years in even-numbered years.  These games consists of four days of competition and involves athletes 12 years up to 18 years.  There are 25+ events and on average, these games have 3,500 participants, including athletes, coaches and officials.

This is the largest multi-sport event in the province and provides young athletes with development and competitive opportunities.  These games are a celebration of youth in sport, as well as, a showcase of Ontario’s best amateur athletes competing at a provincial level.

In order to qualify, the team had to be in first place in their respective league as of Dec 22nd, 2013.  This event is every bit as perstige at the OHF's at the end of the season. The coaching staff is very excited for the players to experience an event of this stature. WE are not going to this event to collect pins and tshirts. The goal is to play in a medal game on Sunday and represent the city of Guelph.

Not only is this an exciting accomplishment for our PEEWEE AAA team, it is a once in a lifetime experience that will forever hold lifelong memories in these boys.  We share this incredible adventure with Ottawa, North Bay, Mississauga, London, Sault St Marie, Thunder Bay and Whitby.

We are proud and honoured to represent our City at these games!  Go Gryphon's Go !!
