U12 AE Tri-County Champs!!!
U12 AE Guelph Gryphons Tri-County Champs!!!
The U12 AE playoff run continued this past weekend when the Team captured the Tri-County Championship. The weekend started with a hard fought 3 - 0 win on Friday evening against the Caledon Hawks in Georgetown, and was capped with another very exciting 5 - 1 victory over Orangeville on Saturday morning in Acton. These were 2 exciting games and the kids were ready to go right from the hop and stuck to the game plan in what were two tight contests.
The kids have had an amazing playoff run going 11 - 2 - 1 on route to the Tri-County Championship! Everyone on this team plays for each other and their work on the ice just shows how they have come together as a team. They are truly a team that exemplifies the value of Team Play. Seeing them come together on and off the ice has been truly amazing to witness.
Congratulations to the team and wishing continued success in the upcoming OMHA Championships.
The Team will take the next few days to prepare for what should be a very exciting OMHA Championship in Windsor April 1-3rd.
