Gryphons Play Strong Against Top Two Teams!!!
It was an exciting week for the Tyke B Jr Gryphons playing the Hespeler Shamrocks this past Wednesday and today against the Woolwich Wildcats.

On Wednesday the Tyke B Jr Gryphons played the Hespeler Shamrocks losing 4-2. Despite the loss against the current 2nd place team, the Gryphons held the tie until the last 5 mins of the 3rd period where the Shamrocks scored two unlucky goals winning the game. Goals scored by Tyler Kelly scoring in the first while Colin Chate scored the second goal in the third. The Gryphons made the Shamrocks work for their win leaving the impression that next time the two teams play, it will be an even fight for the win!

Today the Tyke B Jr Gryphons played the current number one team the Woolwich Wildcats. Although with a loss of 4-1, the Gryphons were the first team to keep the high scoring Wildcats to under 4 goals. BIG saves were made by both goalies Anderson Mau and Trenton Goode while Austyn Lamorea was able to get passed the strong opposition defense to score the Gryphon single goal. It was a team effort that helped keep the top team from scoring multiple goals showing the Wildcats that the Gryphons are a team to watch out for in the very near future!

A shout out goes to the entire Tyke B team who played their two best games of the season and showing that with hard work and the desire to win, they will be the team to beat!
