Gryphons Continue Their Winning Streak!!
The Tyke B Gryphons are on a winning streak after beating the Milton Winterhawks 4-3 today!!!
"What a game" is what the fans in the stands were shouting as both teams were on fire! It was an exciting game but the Gryphons stood their ground to get the win. The Winterhawks could not get past the great Gryphon defense to tie up the game despite pulling their goalie the last minute of the 3rd. It wasn't until the 2nd period when the Gryphons unleashed their 3 scoring goals made by Nickolas Clayton, Tyler Kelly and Austyn Lamorea. In the third period it was a fight in front of the net when Austyn Lamorea scored again to get the win assisted by Colin Chate and Cole Gibson. The play of the game came from a unbelievable save made by Gryphon goalie Anderson Mau when he stopped a high flying wrist shot to stop the Winterhawks from tieing up the game.
Gryphons are looking forward to continue their winning streak when they face the Hespeler Shamrocks on Sunday night!!!
