Gryphon's Win Contributed By Great Team Work!!!
Today the Tyke B Jr. Gryphons played the Burlington Eagles winning 3-1. Impressive team work made it all come together when the Gryphons overpowered the Eagles for the win!
A BIG win for the Tyke B Jr. Gryphons was not the only thing fans were talking about. It was remarkable team work that gave the Gryphons the advantage over the Burlington Eagles with an impressive 18-4 shots on net and playing majority of the game in the opposition's end. With a large number of scoring chances, the Gryphons forced the Eagles to stay in their end to defend their net throughout all three periods. The Gryphon defense stood their ground staying inside the blue line keeping the puck alive for scoring opportunities. A number of great saves from both Gryphon goalies; Trenton Goode and Anderson Mau helped keep the Eagles from scoring additional goals. Gryphon goals were scored by Cole Gibson, Avery Smith and Nicholas Clayton with assists by Nash Willsie, Jonathan Berthaiume, Parker White and Banin Howden.
The Tyke B Jr. Gryphons next game will be held on Wednesday November 30th @ 7:00pm against the Brampton 45's where they hope to have yet another win!
