The Gryphons got things started early when #77 Redford got the NH goalie moving before shooting a beautiful backhand that found the back of the net. NH tied it at 1 but in the 2nd #11 Dubuc pulled the Gryphons ahead (#77 Redford & #4 Boon). Again NH evened the score & by the end of the 3rd the teams were headed to OT. It looked like the game was over on a wicked shot by #97 Lodder but he was robbed. Shortly thereafter the tables were turned when #29 Panchuk made a game-saving glove save! What a catch! The defensive play of the game came from #7 Southern as he pulled the puck off his opponents stick, foiling a potential breakaway for NH! And finally #9 Smith (from #7 Southern & #74 Bunnaman) found the NH weak spot and scored the OT game-winner!
