Novice AE Gives Back!
With Christmas right around the corner, the Novice AE Gryphons are in the spirit and ready to spread the joy that is giving.
Playing hockey isn't just about the game and the wins, it is also about creating better people and stronger communities. Our players realize how important it is to give back, especially after seeing the support given to each of them by our generous community Sponsors.
Our families have come together in order for the players to purchase toys for children in need in our community, we will then donate the toys to The Children's Foundation of Guelph & Wellington as way for them to fulfill last minute emergency referrals to their Adopt-A-Family program. The Novice AE Gryphons want to encourage others in their community to give back, and will be holding a toy drive to collect further donations and see just how great it is when a community comes together for one another. The players and families want to pay it forward and help promote a wonderful and much needed program.
Simply Wonderful Toys (https://www.simplywonderfultoys.ca) has graciously agreed to have our team set up in front of their store on Saturday Dec 9th. They also partner with The Children's Foundation and offer a 10% discount on any toys purchased for the Adopt-A-Family program.
