The Tyke A Jr. Gryphons returned to league play
on Sunday afternoon in Georgetown, falling to the Halton Hills Thunder 2 – 1.
Nicco S. was the lone Gryphon goal scorer in a contest that featured some great back and forth action. As is usually the case when these Gryphons hit the ice, defense and goaltending was outstanding. Tyson M.B. and Finn P. held the Thunder in check while Evan P. and Wyatt M. impressed with their ability to get the puck up ice.
Additional kudos go out to Gage T. whose versatility showed when he filled in admirably on the wing replacing an injured Gryphon player.
The Tyke As return to action on Thursday night when they do battle with the Burlington Eagles at the WERC.
